Pelatihan “The Power of Voice Presence” dalam Meningkatkan Kempetensi Master of Ceremony (MC) Mahasiswa Ikatan Qori’ dan Qori’ah Mahasiswa UIN Sunan Ampel

Master of Ceremony (MC) skills are an essential communication competency for university students to support academic, organizational, and community engagement activities. However, many students still encounter difficulties in mastering fundamental MC techniques, including vocal projection, articulation, intonation, stage presence, and self-confidence in public speaking. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance students' knowledge and skills in public speaking, particularly as professional Masters of Ceremony. The program was conducted through a participatory training approach involving 15 members of the Master of

Ceremony Division of the Student Qori' and Qori'ah Association (IQMA) at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya on April 13, 2026, at the Ulul Albab Grand Mosque Hall, Campus 1. The training methods included lectures, interactive discussions, practical sessions, simulations, and evaluations. The training materials covered the fundamentals of MC, event-hosting ethics, vocal techniques, articulation, intonation, body language, eye contact, and stage presence. The results demonstrated that the training successfully improved participants' understanding of basic MC techniques, increased their self-confidence, and enhanced their ability to host events in a more systematic and professional manner. Participants' active involvement during discussions and practical sessions indicated that the participatory training method effectively strengthened students' communication competencies. Therefore, this program made a positive contribution to developing students' public speaking skills as valuable assets for academic, organizational, and community service activities.

Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Media Digital Sebagai Sarana Belajar Bagi Santri

This community service activity was held to help improve students' digital literacy and skills in using technology and digital media. The goal is to enable them to utilize these tools to learn effectively, innovatively, and responsibly. This program is aimed at students in Islamic boarding schools who still experience difficulties in using digital technology to support their learning process. This activity was implemented through several steps, namely socialization, training, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The material presented included an introduction to various types of digital media used in education, how to use applications for online learning, the use of educational videos, techniques for finding reliable learning resources, and an understanding of ethics and security when using digital media. The activity was conducted interactively through demonstrations, discussions, and practice using existing digital tools. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge and skills in using digital media as a learning resource. The activity employed a direct learning method comprising several stages and involved 20 participants. Its success was evidenced by the participants' enthusiasm and their ability to integrate digital technology into both religious and general studies. Overall, this community service initiative positively impacted the quality of learning for (Islamic boarding school students) amidst the advancements of the digital era. It is hoped that such training programs will be conducted on an ongoing basis in the future, serving as a starting point for developing technology-enabled learning systems within Islamic boarding schools.

Edukasi Transformasi Digital UMKM dalam Penggunaan OCTO Merchant untuk Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Lokal

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the economy, but there are still many MSMEs that do not understand the use of technology. In the era of digitalization, digital transformation is necessary to empower the local economy, one of which is the use of the OCTO Merchant application. OCTO Merchant is designed to facilitate non-cash transactions, increase business administration efficiency, and provide real-time access to financial reports. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach and participatory observation in digital education seminars. The research results show that the use of digital technology such as OCTO Merchant can help MSMEs overcome operational limitations, increase transaction security, and support competitiveness in the digital economy era. However, obstacles such as low technological literacy, traditional habits, and limited resources are challenges in the process of adopting this technology. It is hoped that ongoing socialization and education will be able to encourage MSME players to be better prepared to face digital transformation and contribute to local and national economic growth.

Empowering The Community of Palinget Village in Stunting Prevention through the Palangkaraya University KKN Program

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects physical growth, cognitive development, and the quality of human resources. Limited community understanding of balanced nutrition and stunting prevention is one of the challenges faced by the community of Teluk Palinget Village, Pulau Petak District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge, awareness, and participation of community members, particularly parents and pregnant women, in stunting prevention efforts. The empowerment method employed a participatory approach through several stages, including initial observation and needs identification, direct socialization and health education, interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions, door-to-door outreach, and the provision of nutritious food and beverages as a form of practical nutritional education. The program was conducted by 15 students participating in the Community Service Program (KKN) of the University of Palangka Raya in collaboration with village authorities, village midwives, and Posyandu cadres. The activities were implemented in three sessions targeting parents, children, and pregnant women at several Posyandu in Teluk Palinget Village. The results indicated increased community understanding and awareness of the causes and consequences of stunting, the importance of adequate nutrition from pregnancy through the first 1,000 days of life, and the implementation of healthy lifestyle practices. The activities also received positive responses and active participation from the community, particularly through their engagement in educational sessions and interactive discussions. This program demonstrates that community-based empowerment through participatory approaches and collaboration with local health professionals can serve as an effective educational strategy for strengthening stunting prevention efforts at the village level.

Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru SD Melalui Workshop Pembelajaran Aktif Dan Menyenangkan

Pedagogical competence is a crucial attribute for teachers, as it encompasses the ability to understand student characteristics, design instruction, conduct the teaching-learning process, and perform evaluations. However, preliminary assessments at the partner school revealed that instruction still largely relied on conventional methods, such as lectures, independent written assignments, and one-way question-and-answer sessions. This Community Service (PkM) initiative aimed to enhance the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers through a workshop focused on active and enjoyable learning. The activity employed a participatory and applied approach, comprising stages of preparation, a conceptual workshop, training on developing instructional materials, teaching simulations, reflection, evaluation, and follow-up. Eight teachers—comprising both classroom and subject-specific teachers—participated in the program. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests, observations of teaching practice, and assessments of the developed instructional materials. The results showed that the average score rose from 55.17 in the pre-test to 85.17 in the post-test, representing a 54.38% increase. The most significant improvement was observed in the mastery of active learning models and strategies, where scores rose from 52.0 to 85.5—a 64.4% increase. Furthermore, all participants successfully developed instructional materials that integrated at least two active learning components. These findings demonstrate that a workshop combining content delivery, practical application, simulation, and reflection is effective in improving teachers' pedagogical understanding and skills. Program sustainability is supported through the classroom implementation of the developed materials, ongoing mentoring, and the strengthening of the teachers' learning community.

Penguatan Kapasitas Santri dalam Penguasaan Baca Kitab Kuning di Yayasan Kasyiful Ulum Rambipuji Jember

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas santri dalam penguasaan baca kitab kuning di yayasan kasyiful ulum Rambipuji Jember. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan tahapan Define, Discovery, Dream, Design, dan Destiny. Pendekatan ABCD menawarkan konsep untuk mendorong komunitas dalam hal ini para kyai, ustadz, santri senior, dan pengurus pesantren yang menjadi subjek aktif mengatasi tantangan pembelajaran kitab kuning. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal, misalnya keahlian kyai dan ustadz, semangat para santri, serta kultur belajar yang sudah ada, diharapkan program penguatan kapasitas baca kitab kuning dapat berlangsung efektif, berkelanjutan, dan berakar kuat pada komunitas pesantren. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada Peningkatan ditunjukkan oleh data evaluasi yang memperlihatkan sebagian besar peserta naik ke level mahir membaca kitab kuning dasar dengan lancar. Santri tidak lagi menjadi objek pasif, melainkan subjek yang aktif belajar dan mengajar (melalui tutor sebaya). Motivasi dan kepercayaan diri santri juga meningkat drastis, menandakan keberhasilan pemberdayaan dari sisi non-teknis di yayasan kasyiful ulum Rowotamtu Rambipuji.
